Laundry standpipes
Keeps the washer drain hose in the standpipe, so it can’t work its way out and spill water on the floor.
A washer pumps out a lot of water fast. That push can move a loose drain hose until it pops out of the standpipe. The Hose Grip clamps onto the top of the standpipe and holds the hose where it belongs.
The tapered center grips washer drain hoses from 1″ to 1-7/16″
Let air move during the washer’s discharge, so the hose isn’t sealed in
A stainless steel band holds it on a 1½″ or 2″ standpipe
Air still moves. Four vents around the center let air flow while the washer drains, and the hose stays put.
One part fits either standpipe.
No glue, primer or caulk. Tighten the clamp with a screwdriver or nut driver.
Replaces zip ties and duct tape on the standpipe.
Washer drain hoses from 1″ to 1-7/16″.
Hose Grip Washer Connector
One part for both standpipes. Fits a 1½″ or 2″ standpipe and washer drain hoses from 1″ to 1-7/16″.
Loosen the clamp and slide the Hose Grip over the top of the standpipe.
Hand tighten the clamp with a screwdriver or nut driver.
Push the drain hose through the center to the depth your washer’s instructions call for.
Run a drain cycle and check that the hose stays put and nothing leaks.

It fits most washer drain hoses from 1″ to 1-7/16″ across the outside. Not sure? Reach out.
No. It holds the hose in place, and four vents around the center let air move while the washer drains.
Follow your washer’s installation instructions. Washer makers set a limit on how far the hose goes into the standpipe.
No. If water backs up out of the standpipe, the drain is slow or clogged. Clear the drain first.
The Hose Grip adds a little to the outside of the standpipe, and the clamp screw sticks out to one side. Turn the screw away from the washer before you tighten it.
