On June 22, 2022, Fernco was awarded the Safe Customer Award by Cornerstone Staffing Solutions. Staci LaPratt, Quality & Safety Supervisor, and Autumn Yarbrough, Talent Acquisition Manager, accepted the award on the company’s behalf.
Cornerstone Staffing Solutions launched this program in 2016 for industrial clients in the state of Michigan. Since its inception, Fernco has been awarded this honor every year.
Companies must be in the top third of Cornerstone’s light industrial clients to be considered. There are typically 150 – 200 clients in this pool each year. From there, clients are ranked by the following criteria:
- Frequency of Injuries/Claims
- Severity of Injuries/Claims
- Cost of Claims
- Claim Count
Fernco is happy to have received one of only thirteen awards handed out this year. As a manufacturer, it is Fernco's goal to provide continued education, training and support to keep our employees safe in every part of the business.
